This page is where all of your Notable Poets will live! You need to post a picture, short bio and several poems written by your poet. Classmates will visit your page to comment on the poems or the poet. Make sure you have edited your work and feel proud of your contribution! To get started:
1. Click on "Edit this Page" and type the name of your Notable poet below the name Emily Dickinson.
2. Highlight the name and click on the "link" icon at the top of the page. Hit the Save button before moving on! 3. Double click on the link and it will take you to the new page 4. You will see that the page doesn't exist. You need to click the "edit" button and enter the following information about your poet. Don't forget to save your work as you go!
In the window type your poet's first and last name and years of birth/death.
Find an image of your poet online and save it to your desktop.
Click the "File" icon on the top navigation bar and then click on the "Upload files" button on the right
Find the saved picture and follow the directions to bring it to your page.
Format the image so it is an appropriate size.
Type a one or two paragraph biography to give us information about your poet's life and accomplishments
Paste 2 or 3 of your favorite poems written by your poet on your Notable Poet's page.
